I began dancing with Redhurst from the age of 6 and met some of the most amazing people, all of which will be lifelong friends.

I am now studying at the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University and, along with Florence Russell, am part of a contemporary dance society! Flo and I have had an active role in the society, choreographing numerous pieces; competing in competitions across the country; and now working as part of the committee, myself taking on the role of treasurer. Redhurst not only sparked my interest in dance but also gave me the confidence and skills to fulfil such roles.

My love of dance directly influences the work I produce in my degree, focusing on clear spatial dynamics and movement and how this can be translated into successful building design. My final third year project has come from the experiences shared with Redhurst at the many festivals and shows we took part in, looking into designing a dance performance space which cleverly articulates the flow of performers and audience to provide a well working venue.

I am glad I have managed to continue dancing through university and will always treasure the skills I gained and the memories I have from dancing with Redhurst.
